Chikurimon

A Digimon that lurks underwater or under the shade of rocks, it doesn't move around very much while it waits quietly in one place. Although it has a habit of attacking those that come near, it is never belligerent and won't attack those that stay away from it. Because it proliferates abnormally when the temperature exceeds 30°C, Chikurimon can often be seen thickly crowded into lakes or around rocks with the coming of summer, and Digimon that come to drink water are often attacked. Its "Final Chikurimon", which sacrifices itself just as the name suggests, is the final Special Move of a Chikurimon that explodes itself together with its opponent.

水中や岩陰に潜んでいるデジモンで、じっとその場に留まったままあまり活発に動き回ることがない。近づく者を攻撃する習性があるが決して好戦的というわけではなく近づかなければ攻撃されることはない。温度が３０℃を超えると異常増殖するため、夏になるとチクリモンがびっしりとひしめき合っている湖や岩場などがよく見かけられ、しばしば水を飲みに来たデジモンが攻撃されている。身を犠牲にした「ファイナルチクリモン」はその名の通り、敵もろとも爆発するチクリモンの最終必殺技である。
